The Elite Preds program is a program for those athletes that want to complete at a high level. This program is open to all athletes, regardless of club affiliation.
The athletes in this program will be training to compete in 2s tournaments or at the OVA level.
There will again be two training groups, identified the Junior and Senior Groups. The teams in the Senior group will be the higher ranked teams. During the first two training sessions on May 21 and 22, we will be having competitions amongst the teams to help categorize the teams into the Junior or Senior groupings.
Teams in the Junior group will have the opportunity to move up to the Senior group based on improvement over the course of the program.
Elite Training
The training groups will provide athletes with two amazing opportunities. The first is to become familiar with the tactics and gameplay of organized beach volleyball. The second is to work with fantastic coaches who will teach love of the game. Included in this program will be two sessions a week for an hour and a half. During these sessions, the athletes will focus on beach volleyball twos strategy, tactics, and skill work. The skill work will be complemented by gameplay and game-like training situations.
*Preds Beach will not exceed an 8 athlete to coach ratio.

BONUS-Participants in this program will have access to the 2 courts at Core Fitness and Recreation Centre every Thursday, starting on June 4. There will be no additional cost to Preds Elite participants. More details will follow in the next few weeks.
